If you are out looking for hair extension why not look for real hair extensions? We all know that hair extensions that they sell these days do not feel or look like the real thing. In fact, the look and feel of these things is far from real.

So, what do you do when you are out looking for real hair extension, that will look like you have long hair and not look like you are wearing hair extensions? Well, the first, and most important thing, is to find a hairdresser that does a perfect jobs at applying them.

There is nothing worse than to go to a hair dresser that does not know what he or she is doing. You do not want to go to a hair dresser for a hair extension only to walk out with a buzz cut, so the first thing you need to do, is find out if the hairdresser at least knows the names of the different things that can be done with hair.

You then want to find out if this person has done hair extensions before. If he or she says they have, ask for a portfolio, all hair dressers keep portfolios, so this should not be a problem for them to hand over. If you like what you see in the portfolio, ask if they do extension with real hair or with fake hair.

Most of the time you will find they do it both, but just charge a bit more for the real hair than the fake hair. If you are still unsure, ask if you can see a sample of their hair extensions and for them to bring the fake one and the real one out at the same time. This will allow you to feel the difference of the two.

Many people say that getting real hair extensions is freaky, because you are kind of wearing someone else’s hair on your head. But there is nothing wrong with that. Hair dressers have people growing hair for them, and, most of the time, the hair dressers will look after the hair while it is growing.

This means that the hair that they use for hair extensions are clean and free of any time of illness or disease. This then means that the hair dresser can offer their clients a good product that they know is safe to use on other people’s heads.
