how do you dye you clip in human hair extensions?

so i got hair extensions but theyre a ight brown
but i need them to be darker and there still not cut
and i havent put in the clips yet
so should i dye them befor or after i cut them and
put the clips in? and what is the best wat to dye them?

You could die them before or after but I think after might work out better because you probably won’t end up using all the hair once you cut them. If you fit and cut them to your head size first and then die them you will only have to die the amount you need. I would put the clips on last, after cutting then dying, just because then you won’t have to put the dye around the clips.

what i would do is first out in the clips. next i would clip them to your head then cut to desired length. after you cut them unclip them and use a “paintbrush” and “paint” the dye over it. you can find the brushes at sally’s, ulta, or any other beauty supply store. Hope this helped :)
