Ballet Buns – Adequate In Any Circumstance

Ballet buns had an astounding comeback last summer, many fashion designers opting for their models wearing some on the catwalk, together with their new creations. The reason might have been the box office success of the ‘Black Swan’ movie, with Natalie Portman as the leading actress, who wore some typical ballet buns in there, being otherwise a professional dancer. But not only her type of buns – tidy, tight and flattened – may look amazing, but also some loosely done buns, like the ones perfectly suiting Sarah Jessica Parker in ‘Sex and the City’, in such episodes like ‘Change of a Dress’ or ‘Ring a Ding Ding’ – making her really stand out, especially in combination with her highlights.

While the Portman ones looked classic elegant and the Parker ones casual elegant, we all know the carefully braided ones worn by Kim Kardashian, which, though traditional, even rustic, look as elegant. This means that particular styles aside, buns are an elegant hairdo and one easy to obtain into the bargain.

This being said, both the hair length and volume are crucial for the shape of the bun. You can’t wear a bun at the crown of the head when your hair is very short, but you’d have to settle for a low bun or even two low side buns instead. At the same time, if your hair is both long and dense, it would be hard to form a flattened bun, and an overly protruding one might look unbalanced. In short, if you don’t want desperately a bun for heat related reasons or for your bridal hair jewelry, you should understand that you need rather long smooth hair of average volume for having perfect ballet buns.

On the other hand, appropriate hair care products may allow you to have an acceptable bun in any circumstances. With the right hair gel, you’ll be able to shape your hair at your will, especially when coiling your pony tail. And with the right hair spray, you’ll be able not only to smooth your hair to perfection through the entire process, but also to make sure that your bun is to stay fixed and neat for how long it takes.

If suited with matching clothes and accessories, a hair bun can make you look perfect on multiple occasions. A tight and tidy one, Portman style, would give you a professional appearance in a court of law, as a divorce lawyer, or as a director in a downtown office building at a board meeting. A loosely done one, on the other hand, would be sufficient when going shopping with your girlfriends or when jogging before going to work. And a carefully braided one, Kardashian style, would be just the thing with traditional costumes at traditional festivities, or when gardening long hours in the sun.

These hair care products are created to be effective in photo studios, on catwalks, in the beauty salon, or at home.
